"Evening In Blue" is one of our signature events. This event sells out every year. "Evening In Blue" celebrates iconic music and artist. The ensemble for the evening consist of 6 horns, rhythm section and amazing vocalist. The advent of this event came from a desire to make this music more accessible to all.

anniversary month
Honoring the foundation of our church, we spend the month of October celebrating our history and all the things yet to come. We recognize those who have come before us with Legacy Sunday. Anniversary Month also includes Fall Revival, Men’s Sunday and Laity Sunday.
Hymn Sing Sunday
Hymn Sing Sunday occurs every 4th Sunday in October, this year October 30th, 2022. Customary on Hymn Sing Sunday, members of the congregation submit their favorite hymns to be incorporated into the worship service and sung together.
children’s christmas caroling
The Children’s Choir will be caroling during the Christmas season. Caroling takes place on the front steps of the church. Join our children and welcome in the spirit of Jesus Christ as he is the reason for the Christmas season.
EASTERTIDE
Typically held in April, Eastertide, featuring Vanderveer’s own Sanctuary Choir and a Chamber Orchestra, is a concert of Sacred Music. This year’s Eastertide concert will feature “At His Name” and other great works of music.
